Route

Okay, this is V2 of the Mad Bastard route and signifies some significant changes from the original idea. The biggest change is cutting out the eastern section which dipped into Quebec, mainly because during the scouting we realized that the original route would be about 900 km (not the 800 that we thought)!

Start and finish still remains in Belleville and the new route length is approximately 660 kms. We are working on an additional bonus 140 km loop which participants can choose once they get back to MBS HQ (if they want to do a full 800 km and grab a few extra bonus points to boot!).

As always, detailed maps with clue locations, gas stops and check points will be provided at the Rider's Meeting on the Friday night. Be aware that we still reserve the right to change any part of the route from what is shown below.
